Boston Legacy FC is competing in the 2026 opening season, bringing professional women’s soccer back to the Boston area. The phrase “For the City” also appeared as the theme of Boston Sports Night, celebrating the club’s connection to local fans and Boston’s passionate sporting culture.

The club continues to build momentum in its inaugural campaign. On July 5, 2026, goals from Amanda Gutierres and Aïssata Traoré helped Boston secure a dramatic 2-2 draw against Bay FC. Currently, the team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium and Centreville Bank Stadium before moving to the planned renovated White Stadium in 2027.
